I get SO many comments on the story printed on our #shippingbox when it arrives. It is not our story, it's our packaging partner's story, @ecoenclose - Here is what the box says:
" Hi, I'M A BOX. But I'm not just any box. I've got some pretty serious bragging rights! For one, I am made entirely from waste. I dish out piece of mind and I create demand and marketplace for your recycled trash. Secondly, I am custom-sized to fit my contents. I am not any bigger than I need to be. I don't weigh any more than I have to and I don't use more materials than absolutely necessary. Because me and my compadres are made to order. I was not stored among thousands of other "stock size" cartons in a monstrous climate-controlled energy-draining warehouse. And last, but not least, I am delightfully packed with all sorts of unique and exciting earth-friendly shipping solutions. So, what do you say? Want to journey with me?"
But that is being modest, they are just as passionate about reducing waste as I am and they are constantly innovating #sustainablepackaging solutions of all sorts.
For example, that sticker on the box is the first-ever true #zerowastesticker which they developed. The backing does not use the unrecyclable plastic silicone layer that all other stickers use. That stuff is horrible. Instead, they figured out UV light treatment to make the paper to be soft enough to be a sticker back. WOW! amazing.
The print on this box uses #seaweedink and it is #nontoxic compared to all other inks ever. As far as I know, they are one of the only companies with access to this ink
I can't wait to use more of their products as my business starts to grow. #Packaging is one of the main things that inspired me to do all this. Ecoenclose’s devotion to sustainability practices is so well thought out. I feel I have a true partner in crime towards a #plasticfree future.
